With its new product “sendavideo“ arvato mobile offers a mobile community solution – a fresh module within our portfolio. User can upload their one-minute videos via the internet or via MMS. After checking the videos on legal terms the display of the contents follows on our own B2C brand “sendavideo” or on customised internet platforms for our customers (corresponding mobile portals follow). In order to get a first impression of the video the first scene is displayed as a preview picture and can then be downloaded.
The highlight:
As soon as a user downloads the video successfully the owner of the video is credited. The balance can either be withdrawn from PayPal or can easily be redeemed at “sendavideo” for other videos.
The handling of the portal is very user-friendly. If a user is interested in a video he can download the content to his handset without prior registration. Uploading videos works similar – simply upload the video via MMS to the given short code, after a short time the user receives a password via SMS. Together with his mobile phone number he can log in on the internet. The personal area gives an overview of the respective account balance, the up- and downloads as well as an individual customisation area.
The user generated content white label solution can be configured according to customer-specific CI requirements and can be integrated in already existing online platforms. Furthermore, due to the modular set up of the product additional adaptations to customers’ infrastructures are very easy. That way, it is possible to integrate an existing user administration instead of the provided user generated content solution.
