During this promotion, Colgate-Palmolive tapped into the mobile craze among the young target group for the first time. A product code was printed on the packaging of each of one million promotional styling gel tubes. If this code was sent to a shortcode charged at network rates, promotion participants received a PIN entitling them to send 10 free SMS via website www.gard.de
It was also possible to order GARD LOGOS. Sending a flirty message to the shortcode likewise entitled customers to take part in the promotion. The most original flirty messages were published on the site and rated by GARD users via a voting.
Within the scope of this project, various digital marketing aspects could be linked successfully in one new context and thus ideally integrated into the multi-media campaign.
