Generate increased sales through content promotions

arvato mobile supports numerous functionalities in order to present every type of content as optimally as possible and thus generate end-customer sales with maximum success. All functionalities are integrated with the existing back-end architecture and can be managed customer-specifically.

Via a teaser management system, for example, a wide variety of banners and teaser elements can be integrated both for Web and mobile internet presences in a time-managed manner, for example, fun & entertainment content in the mornings and FSK (German film classification) 16 and 18 content in the evenings.
All elements are individually displayed for the respective mobile terminals. Both individual items, for example “Download of the Day”, and categories or complete channels / specials can be promoted,  for example, “New Animations”, “Summer Special”, “All Real Music Hits”, etc.

Via a competition tool a variety of question and answer opportunities, along with prizes, can be administrated. A variety of banners and teaser elements are provided to promote these competitions. If a download item is also mentioned in this context, a direct download link can be inserted. The competition tool is able to process time-managed WAP and Web competitions and promotions.

To provide an incentive for additional transactions, arvato mobile has developed a marketing matrix tool, using which a variety of “events” are remunerated with a variety of “rewards”. Thus, for example, the first users of a service can be rewarded with a free item, customers with a certain handset receive a 20% discount on an item, customers who register for a newsletter receive 2 items for the price of 1, etc. In total approximately 200 different events can be combined with a whole range of rewards.

arvato mobile supports the following recommendation mechanisms:

  • Recommendation of top content
  • Recommendation of similar content
  • Recommendation based on the user’s individual transactions
  • Recommendation based on transactions by all users ("Customers who bought X also bought Y")
  • Recommendations via SMS

Due to the large number of entertainment products it is crucial to provide a high performance search in order both to offer the customer an optimum user experience and at the same increase end-user sales of content which is not contained in the top listings and/or is promoted separately ("long tail").
arvato mobile’s search engine is optimally tuned to the search for entertainment products. It can be deployed customer-specifically and covers all common search functionalities. Both direct and fuzzy hits are displayed, as well as suggestions for alternative search terms (Did you mean: ...?).

Additional content promotion modules, such as, for example, SMS/ MMS and e-mail newsletter, viral marketing components and rating mechanisms complete the comprehensive solution portfolio offered by arvato mobile.
